Laura Sapiens was a consumer electronics startup founded in Italy in 2011 in order to carry on an alternative vision of human computer interaction. It is under this perspective that the company was named as a natural person, waiting for the day in which it could show itself as digital character and enter into human type relations with its customers.
OUR STORY
In 2013, Laura Sapiens brought to life the innovative concept of personal interaction device.
Ego! Smartmouse was though as an evolution of the familiar pheripheral, being mobile and empowered in its possibilities.
The user could now interact in 3D, seamlessly transfer file among separate screens, safely carry personal data and quickly customize any interface upon connection.
Despite initial enthusiasm, the business failed soon after market launch, compromising any further development of the project.
